Spot on. Very nice rooms, great showers and comfortable beds. Huge big TV in each room. Lovely staff. Excellent Indian restaurant attached and a good bar - the breakfast seems good but I didn't have it. Very central location. Great value for money. What more could you want?! Spot on!
We really enjoyed our stay. The public parking is directly next to the hotel so not far to walk, and the hotel validates the parking so it is much cheaper than the standard rates. The entrance foyer is beautifully decorated with some nice "chill" seats. The bar is super trendy with bare bricks and fairy lights. The room itself was a good size with a jacuzzi bath and a 50" smart TV provided. The location is right in the city centre so great if you don't want to have to get public transport or taxis around the city.

This hotel despite being somewhat art deco and lagging behind modern hotels is a charming place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but did lack tea making facilities. Parking here is difficult but there is Valet parking for a charge. I parked at the long stay car park at the station which is just round the corner but works out just as expensive so you decide what's suits you. Overall a good experience.
Looks grand but rooms in need of some TLC. Clean but not enough plug sockets. Excellent shower. Nice bar area. Took a while to check in and no consierge around to store bags 9n check out or when we arrived back to collect them. Friendly staff.

Great city centre location. A short (across the road) walk from Leeds railway station and across the street from a Leeds Trinity shopping centre entrance. Had included hotel buffet breakfast which was good but the coffee was weak filter coffee. Rooms large with large recently refurbished bathroom. Some decor in public areas could do with modernisation. Lots of black doors, grey paint and red????? Iron, ironing board and good selection of tea/coffee/kettle in room. Would stay there again if priced competitively on web sites. Lots of local competition at that price (@£350 inc cooked breakfast for two night stay)
Lovely hotel. Very central and easy to locate. Only had a one night stay but would definitely stay again. Breakfast was amazing after a full day of festival drinking! Amazing choice and well worth the money.

The food here is ok - not many vegan options if any at times. However - the pub quiz here is amazing. It's every Thursday night from 8pm and I recommend booking a table as it can get quite busy. There is a live piano music round!
This is my favourite pub in Leeds. Not a huge chain, always a good but varied selection on tap and reasonably priced. Not so quiet there's no atmosphere but you can have a conversation without needing to shout.

Great beer selection. Extensive wine list, and wines to take out. Food menu is British gastro pub type. Very tasty, plenty of variety. Probably the best pub in Leeds
Mega!! A superb collection of posh beers and organic wines. Today... coffee, soft drink and a fish and chips as a main course all for 15 quid. It might be a short walk away from Leeds main centre but if you like quirky amazing venues with lovely staff, then make time to visit this cool and friendly venue. Double thumbs up from me.

We were in town, and decided to call into this pub, situated across the road from the town hall. As you go inside, there are lovely old posters celebrating the heritage of the brewery, and old photographs of the town hall and surrounding area through the years. There was also music playing gently in the background. I had a pint of Golden Best, and my wife had a pint of the Dark Mild. There was also a nice food menu to browse through. We finished our drinks then made our way home. As we left, we said that we had enjoyed our drinks, and look forward to coming back. The staff there were very friendly and welcoming.
Last night, after a few exhausting days in London and Bristol, we arrived in Leeds tired and hungry. After walking around for some time looking for a place to have dinner, we found the kindest people and the best food. We had no faith in any ratings for restaurants because of our dinner the prior night but our faith was restored here. Everyone loved their food so much that we all wanted to share with each other. The Town Hall Tavern was such a surprise, if you ever make your way to Leeds, be sure to stop by. You will feel like you are visiting with family.

We visited here for a base whilst we were working close by. For our needs of a clean bed to sleep close by it was perfect. Half of us had the newly refurbished downstairs room which was basic but fab for the price. The other half had an upstairs room which they say got very hot with no way to cool it and there was no hot water. However, the breakfast was lovely, hosts perfect and all for a great price. It's great for a purpose!
A friendly welcome. The room was clean and spacious and everything that we needed was available. Nice little breakfast room, with breakfast arranged at a convenient time for us.

Sadly Green House is no longer operated as a b&b, as the owner is long-term sick

I was a little apprehensive as it was only after I booked that I realised you have to check in by 11pm and as I travelling from afar, I was concerned that I wouldn't make it in time. Called High Bank and Receptionist advised that he would be willing to wait 30 minutes. Thankfully, I made it before 11 anyway. I was given a single bed room with ensuite as requested. Room seemed clean and although small touches to deco could be improved, overall was a good room. In-room supplies consisted of 2shampoo bottles, 2 towels, kettle and tea/coffee/sugar sachets. Free car parking. A few steps from car park to front door with outside seating area. Cannot double lock room when inside was a negative and walls are very thin so can hear all being said next door.
Not bad for Leeds City centre. But no bar's or restaurants near by.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
