Stoney Rock Lane, Leeds LS9 7HD, UK – 0113 380 7940

Fantastic high school. Lovely friendly and supportive staff! Teachers are extremely friendly, respectful and kind to their students. The school is always motivating their students to excel! The staff are very understanding too. The high school has a 0 tolerance to unproductive, disrespectful behaviour. There is also 0 tolerance for bullying. And when bullying does occur (which is very rare in the school) it is sorted really quickly and swiftly. The school runs a lot of after school and during time actities and revision classes. I must say going to this school has helped me a lot. This school helps their students with employability skills a lot. Thanks to all the information and knowledge I received in this school I have found College and work easier. I highly recommend this high school!

The headteacher is a bully and has a bad temper. The teachers are great though, and work really hard to push these students :)

The Dance Studio Leeds

Mill 6, mabgate mills, Macaulay St, Leeds LS9 7SW, UK – 0113 242 1550

This is a great venue at which to either run or attend a dance workshop. All three studios are well equipped with everything you're likely to need in terms of audio equipment and have heating and/or cooling systems. There are three dance spaces, two of which are in the main building and have access to a comfy break out space where there are sofas accommodating about 8 people. Tea and coffee are available on a 50p recommended donation basis. The other studio (three) has its own small kitchen and toilet which is perfectly usable if slightly less attractive. It is however good if you want a private space for your group. The staff are friendly and efficient in responding to queries 're studio availability etc. The studio offers an incredibly broad range of dance and exercise classes and genuinely caters for everyone. They even boast rare but fabulous forms of dance such as biodanza which are not available in many other places in northern England. If you want to get fit, socialise and learn something new to enhance your well being Leeds dance studio comes highly recommended.

My wife and I contacted The Dance Studio as were a bit nervous about our first dance for our upcoming wedding. Ceris took a song we chose and choregraphed a routine for it that worked perfectly both for the music and our own level of experience and energy as dancers, we took four lessons with Ceris while she taught and helped us revise the routine and honestly she was both a wonderful teacher and a genuinely fun to be around. She really helped us explaining things effectively and simply and helping us whenever we hadn’t quite grasped something, she was also flexible to our needs even adding in a few new steps when wanted to tweak a part of the dance that wasn’t quite working for us in the final lesson. I cannot recommend them enough and we got such an amazing response to our first dance from our wedding guests, thank you so much Ceris!

Swarthmore Education Centre

2-7 Woodhouse Square, Leeds LS3 1AD, UK – 0113 243 2210

Very good art classes in and excellent art room. All this at a very reasonable price.

Yorkshire Wine School

7 Merrion St, Leeds LS1 6PQ, UK – 0113 335 0545

I've just completed an eight week 'world of wine' course with Laura and it's been brilliant. As a complete wine novice, I was nervous about not knowing how to taste wine and about having no knowledge at all. I needn't have worried. Every week was relaxed yet informative. Laura is a highly skilled host and the other attendees were always good company. I learned so many useful facts and pointers for choosing wines. My personal highlight was the sparkle and sweeties night but every night was great fun. The Sheffield Tap is also an excellent venue, full of character. I would recommend any of the events for gifts and, as in my case, gifts to oneself. Well done to Laura and her team - I will be back for more. Gin is next on my list!

The 4 week course on Italy was excellent and introduced me to wines that I never knew existed. The relaxed and informal style meant that I was able to get to know many of the other guests and I have been inspired to tour the vineyards of Italy later this year as a result.

Leeds Tuition Centre

My daughter has been attending for over 1 year, we have just had her first parents evening at high school and it was wonderful especially Maths and English, all this IS due to all the hard work put in by everyone at Leeds Tuition Centre. My daughter has achieved her high marks only because of Leeds Tuition Centre. Thank you very much.

Fantastic tuition from professional teachers.

EducateFirst Tuition Centre

Bangladeshi Community Centre, Roundhay Road, Leeds LS8 5AN, UK – 0113 265 3459

I and my wife are very happy with the tuition for our daughter. Excellent teachers. My daughter attends maths and English classes at the centre and enjoy it a lot. She has made good work at school because of the help she gets from the tuition centre.

My son has always hated school and he was not doing well at all so I put him in these classes. He hated them too but I still took him there every Saturday. He started making friends in the end and didn’t mind going. That also helped him with the work and I found he started doing the work and felt more confident. I paid £25 for each month when he attended and I really pleased that my son got the help he needed for such little money. I recommend this place to other parents.
